Welcome to Lyons Community Montessori school!
All of us here at LCM adhere to the principle tenets of the Montessori method, and we do so in our beautiful learning environment nestled in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies.
Our overarching goal is to teach children in a safe, loving, and nurturing environment that allows them to grow as individuals by promoting independence and self-reliance, expanding their natural sense of curiosity to help them make sense of the world around them, and shaping their experiences of working in groups-teaching them how to share and care about others.

What Is Unique about LCM?
Well, unlike most schools in which the teacher-to-student ratio is 1:10, at Lyons Community Montessori the teacher-to-student ratio is 1:7.5. This fact provides us with the amazing opportunity to teach your child in a more nurturing classroom with greater focus on the child.
